Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PokéNerdle (the "Service") at pokenerdle.app. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

PokéNerdle is a free, fan-made Pokémon-themed puzzle game. The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial entertainment.

2. Accounts

• You may sign in with Google to save your progress. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account.
• You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to create an account.
• You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
• Attempt to cheat, automate gameplay, scrape, reverse engineer, or otherwise interfere with the normal operation of the Service.
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users, including in multiplayer modes.
• Upload or transmit malicious content, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
• Use the Service to infringe on the intellectual property or other rights of any third party.

We may suspend or terminate access at our discretion if these Terms are violated.

4. Intellectual Property

Pokémon and all related names, characters, and images are trademarks and copyrights of Nintendo, Game Freak, and The Pokémon Company. PokéNerdle is an unofficial, fan-made project and is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected to Nintendo, Game Freak, or The Pokémon Company.

All other content, code, and branding of the PokéNerdle Service (excluding Pokémon-related material) is owned by the Service operator.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit (such as a display name). By submitting it, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host and display it as necessary to operate the Service. Display names and gameplay may be visible to other users.

6. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle your information.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE OPERATOR OF THE SERVICE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED USD $50 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS (WHICHEVER IS GREATER).

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms will be interpreted and applied in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
